August 26, 2009
In l859, John Henry Newman wrote an article entitled “On Consulting the Faithful in Matters of Doctrine.” It was printed in a Roman Catholic periodical, The Rambler, of which Newman was the editor. It caused such a controversy and the bishops of the church were so upset that they asked Newman to resign, which he did.

Newman not only affirmed the critical role of laity in the church, he insisted that the consensus of the faithful may preserve important doctrines even when the bishops fail. This elevated view of the laity did not become important in the wider Roman Catholic Church until the Second Vatican Council…where it became a “big” issue and Newman’s article played a significant role in the discussion.

Newman made the case that there is lodged in the Church…the Body of Christ which is comprised primarily of laity…a depository of profound practical theological wisdom.
If the Roman Catholics can positively entertain that notion, how much more should we be able to do so as Protestants who champion the priesthood of all believers and the ministry of the whole people of God?

It’s an expansive issue that needs the attention of our United Methodist Church. I hope the issue will become a concern of our theological seminaries, the ministry study task force and the General Committee on Faith and Order, established by our last General Conference, and certainly The Connectional Table.

I believe our recent dealing with the Constitutional Amendments is related in part to this issue. Our church is wise in requiring that our constitution can be changed upon the ratification by two thirds vote of annual conferences. Enough of the votes on these amendments have been reported by the annual conferences to make it possible to reasonably know the results. The sense of the faithful has been registered…not alone in terms of laity, but faithful lay and clergy across the connection.

Let me quickly register the fact that the doctrine of the church is not to be established by popular vote. That’s the reason our General Conference, though it is the final authority for the church’s life and ministry, cannot change our Articles of Religion and Confession of Faith. However, how our doctrines are lived out in the concrete realties of life and ministry are determined in large part by the sense of the faithful.

In light of this issue of the “sense of the faithful,” I have been reflecting on the dynamics of our recent involvement with the Constitutional Amendments. I believe that most members of the General Conference would agree that we gave far too little time to these amendments when they were debated in plenary. It was a travesty, really.
How could the General Conference approve (even barely so) what the church has now overwhelmingly refused to ratify? Could it be that we simply did not take enough time for study, prayer, and holy conferencing to discern the sense of the faithful? Could it be that ideological interest groups and small geographic areas of the church dominate the organizations and structures of influence? Or, could it be that the way the issues were brought to General Conference was prejudiced?

I’m thinking particularly of the amendments related to worldwide nature of the church.
These amendments came out of a non-representative task force and were brought to the General Conference endorsed by the Council of Bishops and approved by the Connectional Table. Somewhere there is a disconnect…either in communication or in leadership. There was little “public” support of these amendments by bishops other than those who were on the task force. It was clear early on that the bishops were not “of one mind” on this matter, yet that was never “publicly” registered. I imagine the Council of Bishops might have a discussion as to why the church in its vote on this set of amendments did not follow their lead. Indeed, if it was their “lead,” what does the vote say about the church’s response to their leadership?

As I understand it, the vote of the Connectional Table was 75% in favor of the worldwide nature amendments. Early reports indicate that the vote of the church may be just the opposite…60 to 75% in opposition. Where is the disconnect here? How representative of the church is this body, and to whom do they pay most attention?

The same questions are applicable to how the “2009-2012 Worldwide Nature of the Church Study Committee” will function. This committee is composed primarily of persons who championed the amendments the church refused to ratify. Also, the vote not to ratify is a “universal” vote, reflecting the “whole” church, not a region of it. While it is very important that the task force address the issues important in how we express ourselves as a “world church,” it is hoped they will not hold tenaciously to what the church has said “no” to.

Another amendment of particular interest is the amendment that would change paragraph IV in the constitution. This amendment was “pitched” as an effort to open the doors of the church to everyone. The church is already open to everyone, but there are requirements for membership. It was clear from the beginning, though some proponents tried to disguise it, that this was another effort on the part of a passionate minority to undermine the church’s position on the practice of homosexuality.

Back in July, the Episcopal Church of America voted decisively to allow the appointment to all orders of ministry persons in active same-sex relationships, and to prepare liturgies of blessing for same sex unions. In the wake of this deliberate schismatic action in relation to the worldwide Anglican family, the voting on the amendment that would have opened the door for the same schism within United Methodism, indicates that we will not go that way. At the last report, the amendment had not received 50% of the vote, when 66.7% is needed.

How long will bishops, pastors, seminaries, and general boards continue to force an issue which diverts focus, resources and energy from mission and ministry? Does the sense of the faithful not matter? Sure, there is the craving on the part of human kind for a variety of sexual expression. We have all sorts of deep-rooted, passionate desires and inclinations; the question is what do we do with them. The Jewish and Muslim faiths, along with Christianity, have always insisted that marriage between a man and a woman is the proper context of sexual intercourse. This is not a matter of a “private response to Scripture,” as some would claim; it is not the witness of a few verses in St. Paul, but the uniform teaching of the Bible, Jesus himself, and the entire Christian tradition.

A few in our family try to make the ordination of practicing homosexuals a justice issue. N.T. Wright, world-known New Testament scholar, Anglican Bishop of Durham in England, rightly says the appeal to justice begs the question of justice altogether. “Justice never means treating everybody the same way, but treating people appropriately, which involves making distinctions between different people and different situations. Justice has never meant the right to give active expression to any and every sexual desire.”

Isn’t there a measure of arrogance in a small part of the body continuing to passionately push their convictions which they know threaten the vitality and unity of the church?

I believe the vote on the amendments is a positive vote for the church, reflecting the “sense of the faithful.” If we are going to fulfill our mission “to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world,” then we must respect the integrity of the faithful in order to engage them in our kingdom ministry.
here is Doug Giles recent note. http://townhall.com/columnists/DougGiles

Recently I have been pondering a story I read from a really old book by William H Davenport.

In the early days of the Abolition movement in the United States two men went out preaching; one, a sage old Quaker, brave and calm; the other, a very fervid young man. When the Quaker lectured, the audience were all attention, and his arguments met with very general concurrence. But when it came to the young man’s turn, a tumult invariably ensued, and he was pelted off the platform. Surprised by their different receptions, the young man ” interviewed” the Quaker to ascertain the reason. ” Friend,” he said, ” you and I are on the same mission, we preach the same things ; how is it that while you are received so cordially, yet I get nothing but abuse ?” ” I will tell thee,” replied the Quaker; ” thee says, ‘ If you do so and so, you shall be punished,’ and I say, ‘ My friends, if you will not do so and so, you shall not be punished.’ ” It is not what we say, but how we say it; not the opinion, but the manner in which it is conveyed.

Perhaps I should consider “the manner” as I reach my 50th birthday. It will not be as much fun but perhaps the hearers will not be shut off by the delivery if I focus more on the manner of delivery. I do enjoy being contrariwise, but perhaps I can be contrarian and be more effective in gaining “general concurrence” if I look to the old Quaker.

My mother would undoubtedly agree

What say ye?

THE FOUNDATION

“Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them if we basely entail hereditary bondage on them.” –Thomas Jefferson

The pinkos are coming — with health “care”
EDITORIAL EXEGESIS

“Democrats, bloodied over their attempt to force health care ‘reform’ on Americans, are looking more unreasonable and hysterical by the day. This isn’t healthy for the republic. Their increasing anxiety and fear of failure are typified in the words of the leader of their party, who wants Republicans to keep their mouths shut while he ‘fixes’ health care. ‘I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking,’ the president said Thursday at a political rally in Virginia. ‘I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess.’ So much for the promises of bipartisan lawmaking. So much for open discussion. So much for understanding who really caused the ‘mess’ in the first place. Like Al Gore claiming the debate about global warming is over, the White House simply wants to shut down dialogue over who controls more than one-seventh of the economy. … Truth is, there’s nothing more American than revolting against heavy-handed authority, be it a long train of abuses from a king or the lawmaking of elected officials with strong authoritarian urges. This is a nation founded on independence, and there is a large portion of it that wants to retain that priceless heritage. This seems to confuse some lawmakers. … Voters’ deep anger is justifiable. They have every right to disrupt and shout down public figures who, as the protesters can be heard chanting, work for them. At dispute is not a mere difference of opinion that can and should be discussed in a civil manner, but a fundamental question of who is in charge of peoples’ lives. We are not advocating violence, though coercive government is at its core violent as the state is required to resort to force to ensure that its directives aren’t violated. But we do support our fellow citizens’ right to express their rage at an injustice, particularly if it makes lawmakers uncomfortable. Shouldn’t Americans bristle when their independence is threatened, when a federal official, in this case White House deputy chief of staff Jim Messina, says party leaders ‘will punch back twice as hard’ when voters merely show their displeasure? The freedom the protesters are defending can sometimes be messy and imperfect. A lack of freedom, however, is eternally oppressive. It is an unrelenting prison that poisons the human spirit, even when cloaked in allegedly humane programs such as government-run health care.” –Investors’ Business Daily

Liberals seek to silence and demonize those who oppose their socialism

New poll shows those opposing ObamaCare are in the majority

Dear James,

Gary Bauer sent out a special alert yesterday concerning how the liberal politicians and liberal media outlets are seeking to silence those who are speaking out against out of control spending and the take over of vital industries. The liberals are upset that common citizens like you are exercising their right to free speech, and are using it to let the liberals know they have had enough and are going to let their voice be heard.

I urge you to get involved, stand up and speak out. Make the phone calls, send the e-mails, make the phone calls. Don’t let the liberal left silence you! The future of our country and our children and grandchildren is at stake. The ugly name calling shows that your voices are being heard. Please keep it up!

Here is what Gary had to say:

“All over the country, normal citizens are exercising their God-given rights of assembly, free speech and dissent. It is important for elected members of Congress to hear from their constituents, and it is a healthy exercise for our democratic republic.

“But the reaction from some in the media and political establishment has been very disturbing. It appears as though there is a coordinated effort to delegitimize public dissent, which strikes at the heart of our constitutional guarantee of free speech. Here is a sample of statements we have collected in the past 24 hours:

• “One member of Congress from Texas referred to his own constituents as “a mob,” saying, “This mob…did not come just to be heard, but to deny others the right to be heard.”

• “From the Democratic National Committee: “Republicans and their allied groups — desperate after losing two consecutive elections and every major policy fight on Capitol Hill — are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country.”

• “From a Virginia congressman: “When you look at the fervor of some of these people who are all being whipped up by the right-wing talking heads on Fox, to me, you’re crossing a line.”

• “White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs: “I hope people will take a jaundiced eye to what is clearly the Astroturf nature of grass-roots lobbying. This is manufactured anger.”

• “CNN commentator and political strategist Donna Brazile: “They’re renting organizers. The left has done it. Now they’re doing it. This little small band of protesters are trying to stop members [of Congress] from doing their jobs.”

“The same leftists who for years applauded when demonstrators took over the streets to protest the Iraq war, amnesty for illegal aliens or who attacked churches that supported marriage remaining between a man and woman, suddenly see a few hundred retirees, small businessmen, homemakers, farmers, sales clerks and just plain folks as evidence of ‘rightwing extremism.’

“My friends, the Left believes that name-calling can intimidate you into silence. Don’t cave! As an American, you have a right to express your views to the politicians who WORK FOR YOU, even if they don’t like it.

“The fact is, you are in the majority now – not the leftists trying to push European socialism on you. The American people do not want government-run healthcare, as a new poll out today from Quinnipiac University shows. The poll found that ‘52 percent of American voters disapprove of the way [the president] is handling the health-care issue and 39 percent approve.’ Here’s more from the poll: By a whopping 72%-to-21% margin, voters don’t believe healthcare reform will be paid for or be ‘deficit neutral.’ And by a 20-point margin, 57%-to-37%, voters say healthcare reform should be abandoned if it adds to the deficit.

“By the way, the Washington, D.C., newspaper The Hill reported this weekend that labor unions and leftwing organizations “will spend between $10 million and $20 million this month to twist lawmakers’ arms over the stalled healthcare reform effort in Congress” and the Employee Free Choice Act. So, ACORN, Big Labor and other groups can organize and protest in support of the liberal agenda, but how dare anyone speak up against it!

“My fear, given the stakes and emotions on both sides, is that union thugs, ACORN activists and leftwing anarchists (who ransacked the streets of Minneapolis and St. Paul during last year’s Republican National Convention) will turn violent and innocent people will get hurt. If that happens, the radical Left will bear the responsibility for demonizing free speech.”

Obama is a blind man leading a cadre of chattering cosmic mistakes. The Universe in its limited evolutionary understanding has labored in darkness to produce self important automatons who declare themselves to be gods.

So sophisticated are the snobbish elite that the very thoughts they have are considered to be unattainably unique and without peer in our nation. The amateur theologian and philosopher President Obama follows himself around the world marveling at the erudition rolling through his teleprompter. He actually believes the words that are fed to him because they belong to the unique class of humanity who inhabit the mahogany halls of politics and academia. These unparalleled humans are gods of this age, they bring their wisdom down from the ivory tower and feed it to the mouth breathing media. Desperate to find any means available to keep their fire breathing dragon alive, the media publishes anything that might keep the pocket change dropping in their coffers for another day.

Everything that the socialists do reminds me of a teenager still living at home. Some moments are pouting, some are rage filled, but all of them are chaffing at the restrictions placed on them in their parents house. Their minds are consumed with freedom from the authoritarian parents restrictive domination. Everything that is wrong is “their fault”. The adolescent mind struggles with ways to keep the benefits of a home they did not build, and an income that they did not earn, yet they must reject the standards that those very benefits are built upon.

Now the children are in-charge. Money is being spent that does not belong to the person with the credit card. Parties and promises and new fancies are all the rage. Everyone who joins in will enjoy themselves as long as the children can keep the fantasy moving forward.

The current rant by the student body president is taking the form of apologies for our historical atrocities whether real or contrived, and a rejection of the moral standards that stand up to condemn his choices. The student body president cannot allow the Christianity that stands in opposition to the hoped for outcome he wants to attain, to continue to exist as in any way relevant for today.

So he declares the end of Christian America. He has made a declaration of independence from the standards that condemn his harlotry, his greed, his lies and his heathen philosophies. Student body president Obama has to be entirely blind to the very buildings and their stone engravings that infest his little white city in the swamp. He declares himself free from those inconvenient reminders of a higher authority to which this nation owes its very existence. But that is entirely consistent with the adolescent mindset and it should be a reminder to each of us that the Prodigal, after his extravagant lifestyle, will have a moment of regret.

Some of us with a bit of wisdom remaining in our pitiful lives will realize that in a way the student body president has a point. We are not living a life that proves whose we are and whom we serve. How many of us can give a reason for the Hope that we have in the Son of Man, the Son of God. Who can turn the pages of the sacred text and declare with those men of the enlightenment, or the men of the reformation, or the men of pentecost the truth of life?

One of the good things that remain for us is once we realize how far we have fallen, we can repent. We can with the prodigal son declare once again where we really belong, and to whom we belong. It is one of the amazing truths that despite how dirty we are, He still loves us enough to take us back, if we will just go back home.

If Obama is right, and we are no longer a nation dedicated, then we have time today, this memorial day to remember, the God who created us to be free, and taught us to sing, and gave us the fighting chance to choose to be democrats and republicans rather than nationalist socialists, communists or fascists. The people of this nation CAN repent, and we CAN return, and we CAN re-establish ourselves as “One Nation Under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

The time has come to reject the foolish ways of late childhood and to become adults who are in right relationship to God and to each other. We must recognize what the wise parents have come to know while caring for a sick children, it is no longer I who matters in this life, I will sacrifice myself so this child might live. In this learning, the parents who understand, take on the wisdom of God. He declared at the beginning of time that His Love requires Him to sacrifice His life for our sakes so that we may live.

The student body president has time to consider his mistakes today, and he also can return to a Father who loves him despite how foolish he is on this anniversary of ours, this remembrance, this opportunity to recall, to repent and to re-embrace the father who loves him still.

The prospect of a Barack Obama presidency makes me very nervous.

Obama’s entire campaign has been based on the need for radical, transformational change, which implies there is something very wrong with America.

It’s hardly surprising, then, that he has painted the bleakest picture of America instead of acknowledging, as a starting point, that we are still the greatest nation in the world.

For the past eight years, Democrats have slandered America as an imperialistic country that always prefers force to diplomacy; that attacks nations without provocation to enrich itself and to project its power; that intentionally targets civilian lives; that encourages sadistic torture of enemy prisoners, as opposed to tough interrogation techniques to extract information to save the lives of its people; that eavesdrops on private conversations among its citizens rather than monitoring terrorist communications into its borders; and that abuses rather than goes out of its way to accommodate the savages in Guantanamo’s prison. None of it is true.

For eight years, Democrats have poor-mouthed the mostly growing economy. They’ve lied that Bush’s tax cuts for all income groups were only for the wealthy and that the cuts reduced revenues. They pretend to be deficit hawks, when Obama’s new spending plans alone will make Bush look like Scrooge. They said Bush wanted to destroy Social Security, when he’s the only one in the past 20 years who had the courage to try to reform it. All lies.

They’ve preached bipartisanship while exhibiting the nastiest partisanship in my lifetime, calling Bush “King George III,” “Hitler,” a “murderer,” a “war criminal,” a “reckless cowboy,” a “moron” and a “Christian throwback.” They’ve caricatured Bush as an unbending partisan who wouldn’t reach across the aisle, in the face of his countless and mostly rebuffed bipartisan overtures and legislation. More disinformation.

They’ve deliberately divided this nation on the basis of race, class, gender and religion while telling us, falsely, that conservatives are racists, greedy, sexists, homophobes and religious bigots.

The propaganda triumvirate — Democrats, the liberal media and leftist bloggers — have portrayed President Bush, Vice President Cheney and America as dark and evil forces and have whipped the country into a frenzy of desperation, setting the table for a charismatic leader to deliver us from the despair they’ve manufactured with relentless precision.

Barack Obama, with his mysterious past and messianic aura, then burst upon the scene with the focused purpose of capitalizing on the public’s perceived woes by offering dramatic change and unspecified hope. As if the script had been written just for him, he stepped right into his role, expanding on this theme of despair. He stressed how bleak conditions are, how unfair America is to the less fortunate and middle class, how ugly America is in foreign affairs, how the values of average Americans are warped (bitter clingers), how hardworking producers who oppose confiscatory tax rates but who contribute more to charity than Obama and his running mate even contemplate are selfish, and how America is a global environmental menace.

With all respect, almost everything about Obama’s campaign is fraudulent. He masquerades as a uniter while dividing, polarizing and alienating us. He denies he’s liberal, when objective sources score him as the most liberal senator. He says he barely knows militants and radicals with whom he has spent his lifetime cavorting and whose worldviews — horrifyingly — he shares. He brazenly disguises welfare redistributions as tax cuts. He and his surrogates keep changing his tax plan.

With his ideas about spreading the wealth, entrepreneurial selfishness, the ongoing “original sin” in our Constitution, the inherent evil of corporations, nationalized health care, and the civil rights movement not doing enough to bring about “economic justice” — a euphemism for “Marxism” used by radicals, such as Bill Ayers, who still hate America — are you not concerned at just how far Obama might go if he’s got a nearly veto-proof Democratic majority at his back?

With his known discomfort with American exceptionalism, his naive mindset about good and evil in the world, his reckless underestimation of threats to America, his stated intention to disarm our nuclear weapons unilaterally, his open-borders extremism, his willingness to relax our intelligence monitoring, and his misguided concern for terrorists’ rights, how can America be as secure under his watch?

With his sordid background in “community organizing” and his symbiotic relationship with an organization that is engaged in a systematic effort to steal this election, his thug tactics to investigate and silence his critics, and his Democratic colleagues’ willingness to use government to shut down conservative talk radio, are you not worried about our liberties under an Obama administration?

Before our very eyes, America stands poised to elect as president the most radical man ever to run for this office credibly. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

To Conservatives Who Are Thinking About Tomorrow
By Tony Blankley
November 5, 2008

Bring me my Bow of burning gold:
Bring me my Arrows of desire:
Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold!
Bring me my Chariot of fire.

I will not cease from Mental Fight,
Nor shall my Sword sleep in my hand
Till we have built Jerusalem
In England’s green & pleasant Land

In regard to attitude, America’s conservatives could do worse than to be moved by those lines of Robert Blake from another place and another time on behalf of a similar sacred cause then not yet realized.

Conservatism always has been and always will be a force to reckon with because it most closely approximates the reality of the human condition, based, as it is, on the cumulative judgment and experience of a people. It is the heir, not the apostate, to the accumulated wisdom, morality and faith of the people.

As a force in electoral politics in any given season, conservatism, like all ideas and causes, is hostage to the effectiveness of the party that carries its banner, the candidates and leaders who articulate its principles and programs, and the engagement and spirit of the people who are its natural adherents.

A dispassionate critique of the performance of each of those elements would have to conclude that the core of the conservative people — our natural adherents — were inflamed with both passion and knowledge of conservative principles. It was the party and the candidates, leaders and conspicuous advocates (with some honorable exceptions) who failed both in their visions and their performances a cause that yearned to be well-led.

But fate (if you are a classicist) or the mystery of God (if you are religious) also has played its part this season. Only once since FDR-Truman has the American electorate elected the same party to the White House three times in a row (Reagan, Reagan, Bush — 1980-1992). And by the way, only once since 1896, when Grover Cleveland declined to run for re-election and William McKinley won, has the American voter not elected the same party to the White House at least twice in a row (Carter, Reagan — 1976-1980).

Moreover, the Republican Party, our reluctant champion, naturally (if, in a few instances, unfairly) was held to account for two unpopular wars, manifest corruption and managerial incompetence, a collapsed housing market that resulted in a 20-50 percent crash in the home values for most Americans, and a financial crisis that threatens world prosperity and has reduced the value of the average American’s stock portfolio by about 40 percent.

But as someone who has been banging around American politics since the Goldwater glory and defeat of 1964, I need to observe that the first explanation of losing causes and losing parties (liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans) almost invariably is to blame incompetent candidates, ineffective messages, and overwhelming events.

At a technical level, that is often true. But at a deeper, historical level, the failure was that the cause was not yet ready to lead. We conservatives were not ready to lead in 1964. By 1980 and 1994, under Reagan and Gingrich, we had figured out how to talk to a majority of the country with both principles and programs that gained a majority endorsement. We no longer were just standing on our high horse declaiming to a nation. We were on the ground, with the people, leading them into the citadel of power.

At a practical level, it is worth considering how Benjamin Disraeli reformed the modern British Conservative Party in the 19th century. (For a fuller account, see David Gelernter’s Feb. 7, 2005, article in The Weekly Standard, “The Inventor of Modern Conservatism.”)

Disraeli envisioned the Conservative Party as the true national party, while the Whigs were merely the party of intellectual ideas. In that time, English intellectuals and progressives were fascinated with German ideas, just as today Democrats are enchanted with European ideas. Disraeli judged: “In a progressive country, change is constant; and the great question is not whether you should resist change, which is inevitable, but whether that change should be carried out in deference to the manners, the customs, the laws and the traditions of the people or in deference to abstract principles and arbitrary and general doctrines.” By championing the vote for the people in a century in which that was inevitable, Disraeli formed a conservative party that dominated British politics for 150 years.

Today there are certain profound values — free markets and respect for life — that are renounced at the price of our soul. Free markets, particularly, are under the immediate, explicit assault of the next government. Life may be undermined more surreptitiously.

But as a national cause championed by a national party, a conservative agenda must, for example, learn to speak persuasively to a near majority of Hispanic-Americans, or we will be merely a debating society. When Texas joins states such as Colorado, New Mexico (and even North Carolina, Virginia, Arizona and Florida), where Hispanic votes are necessary for victory, there is no possibility of national governance without finding that voice.

Our challenge is not to retreat to the comfort of self-congratulatory exile but to sweat and bleed — and be victorious — in the arena of public opinion.

NEXT BAILOUT BREWING – THE SECRET IS OUT!

Tell Congress NO MORE BENEFITS TO ILLEGAL ALIENS!

FAXDC.com wants to send this urgent and personalized Blast Fax message to all 535 members of the House and Senate for YOU.

Alert: Health Care Industry Bailout Targeted?

The Government is using the illegal aliens for the next bailout excuse! Faxdc breaks the story!

Washington’s appetite is growing. As the financial bailout is reaching 2 trillion dollars with more of your hard earned tax dollars being targeted, Washington is eyeing the bailout of hospitals, clinics and medical manufacturers.

“Each year, the tax payer shells out $346 billion in taxes to pay for those immigrants across 15 federal agencies. The Department of Health and Human Services spent $672.9 billion in 2007 according to financial analyst Edwin S. Rubenstein.” As reported by Border Fire Report – Frosty Wooldridge

KEEP READING: The fresh taste of rich nationalization is still moist on the lips of the cash hungry moguls as they eye the lucrative possibility of nationalizing America’s secure medical industry. The fat cat tax and spend crowd has always been lobbying for national government health control! For years they’ve been at it, and now may be their perfect opportunity! Here’s the kicker, they grab control of not only our financial lives but also of our medical records!

This is nothing less than Fat cat bureaucrat bull sweat!

It turns out the liberal bleeding hearts are setting the stage for huge cash infusions into the medical industry. They are secretly watching the medical system break down from the weight of illegal alien free medical treatments. These free treatments are a result of the failure of non-enforcement of our immigration laws.

How does Faxdc know this? Watch the video: www.faxdc.com

Believe it or not many permissive socialists in Congress and Senate deliberately failed to enforce our immigration laws so illegal aliens would flood our beloved nation filling our hospitals, schools and demanding social services all the while placing increasing pressure on America’s infrastructure.

In truth, the liberal freedom grabbing horde has planned the destruction of our medical industry for years and to make matters worst their attempted grab will be done in the name of the greater good. The medical crisis is the centerpiece of the take-over of our privately owned medical industry and not only that but the take-over will be done in the name of the greater good for the American people!

Hospitals are required to provide emergency care to illegal aliens under the “Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act of 1985″. The free service for illegal aliens comes with a price tag of over $ 170 million dollars paid for by YOU!

Astonishing, isn’t it?

What we are seeing is a movement of power from the people into the hands of Washington bureaucrats. Washington is bailing out Wall Street, illegal aliens, foreign companies but refuses to give money for new jobs and the creation of new business. In other words U.S. Citizens are not important enough to be bailed out, but, fat cat Wall Street banks and illegal aliens are!

I can hear it now, “We saved the mortgage industry for the American people, now we are going to save medical industry for the American people.” Of all the nitwit, jackass, cheap shots presented to the American people this has to take the cake! In other words they are going to rip-off the American people, in the name of doing what is good for the American people, how transparently devious.

WOW!!! 100’s of Emergency rooms and over 86 hospitals were forced to file for bankruptcy in California alone since 2002. Many of them closed and never reopened their doors. The sad reason was that they were swamped by the influx of millions of illegal aliens. Reports show there are over 5,000,000 illegal aliens living California and using the emergency services as their regular medical source of treatment.

Make no mistake, Faxdc is NOT saying that there is no medical crisis; Faxdc is saying that it has been planned and the real crisis can easily be fixed. The fix is keeping the federal government out of our medical records and by enforcing our immigration laws. Of course, treat illegal aliens for true emergencies and then have them picked-up and deported!

Okay, now let’s get down to business, Faxdc has warned that once Washington gets into the bailout business it’s voracious appetite would not be satisfied with a mere 700 billion dollar free for all! Unfortunately, Faxdc was right, again!

Now listen up, the Faxdc Army was right when we stopped Amnesty twice, forced Congress to pass domestic oil drilling, stopped the Mexican trucks and called national awareness to the bailout scam. We are once again right on this! Soon after the next President is sworn in and the political honeymoon is over there will be a national crises in our hospital system. The stage is set by failing medical centers and hospitals closing their doors. The next precedent was set by Washington being in the bailout business, regrettably, the result will be the nationalization of our medical industry.

Do you understand what this means? With the tactical use of the massive illegal alien army making impossible medical demands, the knees of Washington will buckle all the while grabbing complete control over our health industry.
